US Citizen married to a Phillipine just found out she was not here legally, now What?

I'm a US Citizen, married for three years now and we have a two year. Just found out the she was not legally a citizen of the US. Her parents moved here when she was 16 and their visa expired two years after they moved here. Now what can happen to my wife and can I get in trouble?US Citizen married to a Phillipine just found out she was not here legally, now What?
She should be able to apply for a green card as the spouse of a US citizen. You should get a lawyer to help guide you through the process. The fact that you have been married for three years before applying should make the process go smoother.US Citizen married to a Phillipine just found out she was not here legally, now What?
Since you have issues with her%26gt; What did she use for ID when you got married%26gt;??Don't you have to have proper paper work to get married or are you married I don't know best find out%26gt; Try calling immingration and get the correct answer%26gt;Best of luck%26gt;??
Contact a immigration lawyer.
settle the papers first legally. consult a legal attorney
It's immigration attorney time. Since you are married, it should be (relatively) easy for her to get residency and eventually citizenship. It's paperwork, time, and money, but it shouldn't be a real problem.
contact the nearnest embassy
talk to a lawer
was she a permanent resident then? you can apply to renew her green card but will have to explain to the INS why you filed after it expired. i think the form is a I-751. she is entitled to be deported but it's not very likely it will happen.

She can maybe apply for citizenship too but i don't know if her no status will effect her application.
I heard the Phillipines are beautiful and the people are warm.

I know the food is good......so start packing.....
You may have made her ';legal'; when you married her, but I'm not sure...there are attorneys who specialize in immigration law...better be finding one, sounds like 2 me...K ;o)
A filipino can never reach america on an illegal basis. Phils is located on the other side of the earth. Maybe the visa of her parents were just a working visa and might have been expired before they can find another employer. As an american citizen, you can apply for her green card since you both married and living together. Its not a big problem as of now as long you wont divorce you wife. This can be solved by talking to an immigration lawyer who will also do the processing on your behalf. However, this may take time, a lot of paperworks, patience and money
Start packing for the Phillipines. She will have to do her paperwork from there.
