Can i get married by a priest in maui?

I am looking to get married by a priest (not a minister) in maui. I am having a hard time finding a priest that will perform the ceremony on a beach and not a church.Can i get married by a priest in maui?
You definately do need to play by their rules when you ask a priest to perform your marriage. You will need to do pre Cana classes at the very least, and if one of you is not Catholic, there are more roadblocks. One thought... you might be able to find a church that is beachfront %26amp; get married on the grounds of the church. I don't know if there are any Catholic churches on the beach on Maui, but it might work out for you.Can i get married by a priest in maui?
It depends on what kind of priest you're looking for. Most priests won't conduct marriage ceremonies on the beach as those people wanting to get married on the beach are not usually looking for a religious ceremony and wanting a more non-denominational one instead. This of course goes against everything the priest has been trained to do.





That being said, I would suggest you contact the church of your choice and ask them. Most of the time they'll be willing to do it once you undergo the usual pre-marital counseling and offer a very generous donation.
