I have heard that if you get married you have a smaller chance of getting scholarships and grants, and other help from the government for going to college, is that true? are there any other downsides to it, like do any other prices go up (insurance)? I really love my boyfriend and would love to move in with him together and get married soon but if this will prevent me from getting grants it may be hard to go to med school.What are the downsides (school funds and payment wise) to getting married early?
Not scholarships, but government assistance would be smaller. You could still qualify for loans depending on how much you make.
