Can you get married if you are pregnant and 17 in Georgia?

Can you get married without parental consent if you are pregnant and 17 in the state of Georgia? Can you get married if you are pregnant and 17 in Georgia?
Yes you should be able to.

If you are 16 or 17 years old, you may apply if accompanied by both parents who have given written consent. If the bride is pregnant, no parental consent is required if you submit a statement from a licensed physician certifying that the bride is pregnant.

This can always change, I would ask the courthouse or someone who would know to be certain. Can you get married if you are pregnant and 17 in Georgia?
There is one city in Georgia that allows this. Or at least they did in the 90s, not sure if they still do. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it. Try googling something like underage marriage in GA.

EDIT: I just googled it for you and I don't think they allow that anymore. Sounds like there is no way for you to get around the parental consent issue.

BTW sorry so many people are being mean to you on here.
Pregnancy has nothing to do with being able to get married.

You can get married when you are 17; however you need your parents to sign a form to okay it. And don't think you can get a friend to forge the signature. Your parents (or parent) need to sign it, in person, in front of a judge. Hope that helps.
No, you need your parents' permission. You can get married in GA at 16, but again, parents' approval, and in some counties, judge's approval. Maybe other states are different?
No you can't, pregnant or not. You have to be 18 years old unless you have parental consent. You're going to have to ask your parents or wait a year.
I THINK THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A CERTAIN AGE OF 18 2 GET MARRIED IN THE SITUATION OF BEING PREGNANT.
I think you can elope(how ever its spelled), which is a ';marriage'; with out your wedding licence, lots of young couples do that then once ther are settled they have a real wedding.
not without parental consent unless you are emancipated..you can divorce your parents %26amp; get married..
You probably have to have you parents sign papers. I suggest you wait to get married. You never know what the future brings! G/L either way!!
i think you have to be at least 18 years old to get married in the whole United States.. but you can search it up.
No. And its a good thing. Most children don't know what ';marriage'; even means.
Nope.
